Create More Time Than Ever

When I was riding the bus last week, a friendly woman was sitting next to me. During our half hour on the bus, she received three calls on her cell phone. After the first call, she turned to me and said her father had just invited her for dinner. "How much time does he think I have?" she wondered, while her cell phone rang again. "This will probably be my husband." She took the call and sounded surprised to hear that her husband had bought airline tickets for them to fly to Hawaii for a week.

Even though I tried to close my eyes and sleep, I heard her say, "I can't – I am so sorry, honey, but I honestly can't take a week off." She finished the call, then sighed in despair. Just when she intended to start talking to me again, her cell phone interrupted. It was a reporter who wanted to interview her for a well-known journal that would bring much attention to her work. "I'm so busy with my work. I'm booked solid until the middle of next year... OK, if this is too late for you, I'm sorry, but I have to say no." Again, a great opportunity slipped through her fingers.

In fact, I would have liked to have a nice conversation with the woman, however, as you can imagine, she didn't have time and had to get off the bus at the next station. What a surprise! Some years ago, this could have been me. Times have changed since then. I would have loved to ask this woman what her purpose in life is, and who the people are that matter most to her. Are we really living our lives when we don't have time to seize great opportunities? Is it a good thing to be booked for an entire year without any breaks for unexpected occasions?

The time-creating process has kept me busy for years. It took a long time before I figured out what is going on in my life when I have the impression that I don't have time. What does it mean when you say, "I don't have time"? The secrets to creating more time than ever in your life will be revealed on Wednesday, December 2, at 2 p.m. EST in my free telephone workshop.
